Asphalt Paving operations for placement of the top course are scheduled for today and tomorrow (Wednesday, July 20 – Thursday, July 21).  Please continue to follow the detour or seek alternate routes for the safety of the construction crew.  After the asphalt course is completed, gravel shoulders, permanent signs and pavement markings will be placed.  Continue to follow the Lapeer CRC Facebook page for schedule updates as they occur.

The first lift of asphalt is complete along Hunters Creek Road, Lapeer Road (M-24) to Morris Road.  This week the road will have intermittent road closures for tree removal.  Please follow the posted detour or seek alternate routes for the safety of the crew.  Once trees are completed, the second lift of asphalt will be placed, followed by gravel shoulders, pavement markings and restoration.  Continue to watch the Lapeer CRC Facebook page for schedule updates as they occur.
