2022 Davison Road Bridge
Davison Road Bridge over Hasler Creek, located east of Maple Leaf Road, will be closed starting approximately July 25, 2022 until approximately August 23, 2022. Actual Construction Schedule to be determined. Work includes, but is not limited to, re-sealing bridge superstructure, placement of new asphalt approaches, and new guardrail. Project is being funded through the State of Michigan’s Critical Bridge Program. Watch for schedule updates on our Lapeer CRC Facebook page and the website.

Impact on Traffic:Bridge will be Closed to All Traffic during Project
Davison Road Bridge to Open Today (June 30, 2022) and will stay open over the Holiday Weekend. Davison Road will then re-close at the Hasler Creek Bridge again on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 and will remain closed until Friday, July 8, 2022. Davison Road will close today at the Bridge over Hasler Creek, between Maple Leaf Road and Elm Grove Road, in Elba Township. Please follow the posted detour during the Bridge Closure or seek alternate routes for the safety of the crew. Contractor will be installing an epoxy overlay on the bridge deck as part of a preventative maintenance project. This overlay will provide a weather-proof layer to protect the bridge deck to extend the life of the bridge. Davison Road is estimated to be re-opened on Friday, July 1, 2022, weather dependent. After July 4th, the Contractor will return to complete additional approach and shoulder work at the bridge. Follow the Lapeer CRC Facebook page for schedule updates as they occur.
