2022 Genesee Road Bridge

Genesee Road Bridge over Hasler Creek, located east of Elba Road, will be closed starting May 31, 2022 until approximately July 15, 2022.  Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing asphalt surface, select repair of the bridge superstructure, placement of new asphalt deck and approaches, and new guardrail.  Project is being funded through the State of Michigan’s Critical Bridge Program.  Watch for schedule updates on our Lapeer CRC Facebook page and the website.

June 27, 2022 Genesee Road Bridge Open To Traffic

Genesee Road Bridge over Hasler Creek, east of Elba Road, is now open to traffic.  Grass restoration will be completed soon.  This final work will be completed under shoulder closures or traffic regulators, as needed.  Continue to follow us on Facebook for schedule updates.

May 26, 2022 Genesee Road Bridge Project to Start Tuesday

Genesee Road Bridge over Hasler Creek project, between Elba Road and Maple Leaf Road, is scheduled to start Tuesday, May 31, 2022.  This section of roadway will be closed to through traffic, including emergency vehicles.  Please use Detour Route for the duration of the project.
