Deerfield Township, in cooperation with the Lapeer CRC, is sponsoring a HMA Asphalt paving overlay on Hickory Place, from Lapeer Road (M-24) easterly to Lakeshore Drive.  This work will include, but is not limited to, placement of new asphalt wearing course, gravel shoulders, approaches, grass restoration, signs and pavement markings.  Road will be closed to through traffic intermittently during the different phases of the project.  Please follow the posted detour, or seek alternate routes, for the safety of the construction crew.
