Line painting for the 2022 Pavement Marking Program will resume Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Crews started line work last Thursday and Friday. To finish the remaining roads scheduled for paint this summer, it is expected to take another three (3) working days. Line crews only travel at about 25 mph – Please stay back from the paint truck to avoid getting wet paint on your vehicle. Cones are placed along the lines when wet. If cones are present, please avoid crossing the lines, if possible. A second crew follows and removes the cones when paint is dry, approximately 20-30 minutes after painting. To review the roads scheduled for paint, please see the 3-year rotation map on the Lapeer CRC website
