Traffic Control Order

A Traffic Control Order (TCO) is written approval establishing regulatory control of vehicular traffic within the jurisdiction of county roads in Lapeer County. Regulatory control includes, but is not limited to:
- Establishing Speed Zones
- Establishing Stop or Yield Control at intersections
- Parking Restrictions
- Signal Operations
- No Through Truck Movement
- Weight Limits on Roads and / or Structures
All Traffic Control devices must meet the requirements of the current Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
