2022 Mill Road HMA Overlay Project

Dryden Township, in cooperation with the Lapeer CRC, is sponsoring a HMA Asphalt paving overlay on Mill Road, from the Dryden Village Limit northerly to Sutton Road.  This work will include, but is not limited to, placement of new asphalt wearing course, gravel shoulders, approaches, grass restoration, signs and pavement markings.  Road will be closed to through traffic during certain phases of the project.  Please follow the posted detour, or seek alternate routes, for the safety of the construction crew.  Posted Detour information is below.

August 24, 2022 Mill Road Paving to Resume Thursday

Asphalt paving operations for placement of the top course are scheduled for the next two (2) days (Thursday August 25 – Friday August 26).  Please continue to follow the detour or seek alternate routes for the safety of the construction crew.  After the asphalt course is completed, gravel shoulders, permanent signs and pavement markings will be placed.  Continue to follow the Lapeer CRC Facebook page for schedule updates as they occur.

August 18, 2022 Mill Road Asphalt Overlay to Start Friday

Mill Road, from Dryden Village Limit northerly to Sutton Road, will be closed for Asphalt paving operations starting tomorrow, Friday, August 19, 2022.  During Road Closure for paving, please follow the posted detour, or seek alternate routes for the safety of the construction crew.  This will be the first asphalt lift.  The second lift will follow next week, weather dependent.  Continue to follow the Lapeer CRC Facebook page for schedule updates as they occur.
