2022 Mitchell Road Bridge
Mitchell Road Bridge over Farmers Creek, located east of Bullock Road, will be closed starting around May 9, 2022 until approximately June 13, 2022. Actual Construction Schedule to be determined. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing asphalt surface, select repair of the bridge superstructure, placement of new asphalt deck and approaches, and new guardrail. Project is being funded through the State of Michigan’s Critical Bridge Program. Watch for schedule updates on our Lapeer CRC Facebook page and the website.

Due to predicted poor weather this weekend, the paving of Mitchell Road Bridge Approaches is rescheduled to the first week of June. After the asphalt is placed, the Contractor will schedule the guardrail installation and final restoration. Continue to watch the Lapeer CRC Facebook Page and the Website for project updates.
Work on the Mitchell Road Bridge, east of Bullock Road, Elba Twp, is scheduled to begin May 9, 2022. Estimated completion is anticipated in mid-June 2022.
